Children in Kid’s Day Out are encouraged to learn through play. We believe this happens through their interaction with other children in the classroom and by giving them many opportunities to explore the world that God has created. This allows the children to develop their whole body – spiritually, emotionally, physically, academically and socially.
Kid’s Day Out follows the ABC Jesus Loves Me (www.abcjesuslovesme.com) preschool curriculum. Preschool age children are involved in structured activities such as arts/crafts, Bible stories, finger plays, music, story time, interest centers, large and small motor play, language & literacy, circle time and Chapel time. These activities tie into each other through bi-weekly or monthly units of study based on a given theme (i.e. community helpers, manners, dinosaurs, insects, etc.). Toddler classes have non-structured activities such as Bible stories, finger plays, music and art following the program’s themes based on their age levels. We utilize Fayette County kindergarten-readiness guidelines in conjunction with our preschool curriculum to ensure that your child is poised to excel.
Kid's Day Out is a state-licensed preschool program.
Our school year program meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 AM - 2 PM and follows the Fayette County School System Schedule. An optional Extended Day is also be available from 2-5 PM. Registration must be made in advance for one, two, or three days a week.
